Feel free to organise a Victorian event, if you think it has a closer association with Land Rover.
Queensland has traditionally held its own event, to compliment the National Event at Cooma, every five years. Previously organized by the LROCB.
I attended and was dissappointed in the 75th National Event and felt that I could have done better.
There is no way I am going to try to organise an event, 2,000 kilometres away, in unfamiliar surroundings, in which I have no contacts.
With five responses the event obviously became moot.
Celebrations are going to occur, hopefully including folk who, in a "furthest from home" competition, will well and truly trump anyone from Victoria.
Details will be posted in Upcoming Events, closer to the dates, inviting everyone, but the celebration will revolve around those making the effort to travel well over 2,000 kilometres.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

Wasn't suggesting you do a Vic one, Ian. Like I said, I applaud the intent.
