I only know from experience that travelling O/S and visiting relo's and friends that they automatically set their own itinary for the travellers. We should ask them what they want to do before filling up there time here.
Agreed Mat - but they're here for a whole year, and with the option to extend that - probably will. They'll get plenty of time to themselves, don't worry.

    Hi Chris,
We're good for a few nights accommodation (Hornsby area) when they're passing through Sydney.
Have also been considering opening up 'Rovers Restaurant' for a Black Tie bush dinner but would have to be around March due to possibility of fire bans Jan/Feb. Will see how their itinerary pans out when they start their Aussie travels.

Thanks for that Roger - much appreciated! I'll be updating their itinerary whenever they change plans, so we'll see if the black tie fits in soon I guess.

    Cheers

They are also looking for a good bull bar, new shocks, tyres and brake pads if anyone has any suggestions.

Sorry to get back so late Stuart - my apologies!

Thanks so much for your offer. I'm getting either Robert or Martine to talk to you directly over this as their itinerary will be constantly changing. Thanks again for adding to the spirit generated amongst you wonderful Land Rover drivers and supply companies throughout Australia! 3 cheers!!!!

It's all happening folks! Great news! Simon from 4WDTV has swung us a complete EFS suspension package for the trip! It'll be a heavy duty setup to replace their fading shocks and Defender 130 double helix coils. The vehicle weighs in at 3.2 tonnes, so it'll be a great setup.

Robert is here, and the vehicle has cleared customs. It's in with Aquis today and should be out by Monday next week. Then it can go to Discovery Automotive to have everything fitted.

Once again - thanks so much to all involved. It's going to be a ripper trip!

    Cheers
    Chris
