If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

I went to Bunnings recently and parked the L322 next to a newish RRS.

When I looked at the numberplate, I realised its owner was the bloke from whom I bought the L322.

Never thought to take a pic.

Yes - the panel beaters replaced the entire left rear quarter and did a great job. I've since been asked more than once in town if it is a "new" car.

Yes - they are very similar. Even have the same rear wheel carrier & ladder. I know the people who own the one on the left - they travel a lot in the goldfields pulling a caravan. They also have a white D2.
A decent pair of spotlights on theirs and they'd both look pretty similar at the front too.

I have a similar story; during July this year wife and I were passing through Mareeba in the Atherton Tablelands with the c/van and heading to Cairns. We stopped at Coffee Works in Mareeba where they manufacture coffee and also have a cafe. (great coffee!)

After coffee, walked outside to our D4 and c/van only to see a TDV8 RRS with a c/van parked near ours.
Hmm, I thought, that's a nice looking RRS.
Same colour as my old one, Ipanema Gold.
Interesting, it's got Tassy number plates.

Wait a minute, it IS my old RRS!
Went back inside and had a chat with the owner Chris.
Has had no probs with car and loves it; over 250,000 klms and all over Aus towing his van.

    What price that coincidence!!
    Before: Ser 2a LWB, Ser 3 S/W, 1979 RR 2 door, 1981 LR Stage 1 V8 (new), 1985 LR 110 V8 County (new), 2009 RRS TDV8
    Now: MY13 D4 TDV6. "E" rear diff. Cambo's magic Engine & Auto Tune. 1968 Austin 1800 Mk1 auto (my 5th)
