What is the longest Olympic running race that is held in a stadium?
Hello All,
A question to the sports buffs. What is the longest Olympic running race that is held in a stadium? For example, Wikipedia states that, 'the 1908 London Olympics marked the introduction of the now standard distance of 26 miles, 385 yards (42.195 km). Accessed 1st of February 2024 from Marathons at the Olympics - Wikipedia. Where a marathon race is held out on the roads and the streets. What I have not been able to find is what is the longest Olympic race event distance that you would most frequently expect to be only ran within a stadium? Yes, I know that there are exceptions to every rule. I am just after the rule of thumb example.
Kind regards
Lionel
