    Numpty, I assumed that the failed Defender was the one we fixed. It must have been quite a trip with Shorty, Wash and Karl. They seem like good blokes.

    G'day Big Jon.
    Well, you're the one. Sutton Motors I mean. It was a great trip, the only trouble was they were only with us for the first week and a half, and didn't get to enjoy the other three weeks. Did catch up with Wash at Louth and he had his own sorry vehicle tale to tell. Went back home from Louth via Sydney and spent night at Shortys and got all the details, and I mean all. He is a great bloke. Met him in 1989 in Innamincka Pub and have been good mates ever since. Common interests of LandRovers and beer probably help. Will look you up when next out that way.
