Yep. That’s them. We are sewered. I believe they actually traverse the water in the s-bend (more prolific when it’s hot water going down the shower drain). We have sprayed the shower drain & bathroom floor drain (numerous times) and nothing flies out trying to escape the spraying … then next time we shower there’s 10-30 of the effers alighting on the white tiled walls of the shower recess … they HAVE to be living on the sewer side of the s-bend ?? We’ve used boiling water, vinegar, baking soda, chemicals … but they eventually come back … went to Europe aug/sep for 4 weeks so the shower wasn’t used for that time …. They reappeared about 3-4 weeks after we returned and started using the shower again …
