The lights work quite well on the Eastern Fwy in Melb. Vehicles enter the Fwy with enough of a space between them that they can merge into the traffic. Otherwise they were bunching up at the merge point and coming to a dangerous standstill. Now they merge at a faster speed.

I wasn't sure about them when they were first introduced, but they seem to work really well.

    Let's not hijack this discussion.

Craig I hope your mate is ok and I do feel his pain..its not just the accident it is the months and months of rehab thats the bummer even when you get the big payout it really doesn't compensate for the true pain and suffering
Vlad as for virtual stuff I was watching the channel seven HD test program and it involved a down hill eye view of a skier and it was so realistic I involuntary started swaying on the turns
As for the $$$ its an investment as by building an elaborate home theatre its probably added 60-70k to the property value..thats how you get it past SWMBO..

    Dawg,
James Bond was male chauvanist pig and he got all the women.

Besides women can't talk look how they act in a group, disgraceful, always talking of a blokes genital area like they were tropheys and men should be used abused and thrown to the next pack of shlong hungry sharks.

The make me feel like a piece of meat.

    And I love it

P.S I like it when blondes look into mirror balls for hours on end

Only to the right buyer. It's like a swimming pool - I've looked at houses to buy and rejected them out of hand because they've had a pool. Ditto with people who talk about the money they've put into the kitchen. Most I've seen are bloody ugly woodgrain things so the new kitchen would need to be ripped out and replaced.

For me, a garage converted to a home theatre would need to be ripped out and converted back to something useful, i.e., a garage.

Well, in a lot of ways I'm a chauvinist, too (ask my family!), but I'm glad I married a smart one. She may not have a uni degree but, by gum, she's smart. I'm the lucky one.

I'd hate to be married to a woman who wasn't intelligent. Maybe that's why we've been married for nearly 37 years (apart from the fact that I still think she's beautiful).

You may just have to live in your home theatre if she ever reads this!

Ron , you don't need to watch tv you'd be quite happy listening to the Am wireless.. by the fireplaceRon in this current climate of buyers the In thing is a hometheatre I should know as I make my living building New homes and their list of must haves are a home theatre, powder room, activity room and these are all requested by popular demand . So I increased my living area of my home to 372sqm and in the same time modernised it. But your point is valid I couldn't see this place being of interest to an old couple as it is too big and modernised but different strokes to different folks.. as for the comments on my wifes intelligence it was said in humor, tongue in cheek ..she works as a paramedic nurse at the local hospital ER.., I'm the dumb one in my family I have a degree in architecture but work happily as a builder..gofigure?
