The 'gods' did a fantastic job for all that to happen to Skaife, most likely something you will never see again.

I'm not a religious person but the 'gods' got it right.

    I don't like Skaife either.

It was actually great when young Perkins slammed into Skaife. I was dreading todays race because Skaife was winning everything.

Imagine if it was only a slipping clutch and he started racing from the back of the field. No-one else would have had any TV coverage as Channel Ten/Skaify love fest would have been on.

Absolutely brilliant that he was out on the first lap..it switched all the attention onto the others for a change.

I was the same, i just dont like him. I lost all respect for the man on those V8 Superstars shows when he spent the whole show bagging everyone else and then whinging when they gave it back to him, the second most arrogant man in motor sport, 2nd only to Shoomaker

I am not holden or ford, just everyone but skaife. COuldnt have had a better result, the next best result would have been Seton winning for the first time. Matt

    Couldn't agree more!
He is another gentleman, and if he never wins a 'Bathurst' it will be an injustice

What the VCR had to go on ebay to pay for rangie parts did it vlad.

Couldnt agree more about the whole skaife thing, cant stand the man. I feel sorry for tander though, the cheated to get him into HRT to drive with skaife to spread their (toll HSV racing and HRT) chances of keeping their top drivers in the championship hunt and it back fired. Still seeing skaife get swamped on the line and then the cameras cut back to his smashed car did bring a rather large smile to my face. What a race. Matt

Sorry. I recorded the WHOLE race on our PVR and paused when I had stuff on, and when I did get to the telly I could fast forward through all the boring bits. At one point I got up to live, so I went off and did some jobs and came back later

    Anyway, good fun result.
