    Do you still have it?

Mine was a Subaru Brumby, very reliable (never had to tow it in nearly 200 000km). Sold to a mate who rolled it 3 months later.
this was my first car which i learnt to drive in (1988). A 1972 seris 3 2.25 diesel. With auto locking front hubs, 750 Avon ranger mater tyres (which in 89 were the bees knees tyres) and farley overdrive.

    A 2.25 turbo diesel?

Or is the sticker just a sticker?

My "first car" actually a paddock basher, was a 1923 Ford T - all my pocket money went into its fuel tank from when I was big enough to reach the pedals.
My first "real" car was a 1956 VW ute. This was traded on my similar vintage Series 1 in 1962, so I don't still have it.

Austin 1800. Got it for $50 fixed it up and then sold it for $250 to the local club. Once I got my l's I got datsun 240K. Covered it with go fast bits, then a friend parked it inside an 89 Magna station wagon. naturally we had no insurance so it took years to pay off the Magna.

From some of these posts it seems that the love (sickness) for automotive things British extends past the LR badge!
