Datsun 180B SSS
Beat this - 1926 Alvis 1250 sports.
I traded it on Parramatta road for a resprayed pink FX Holden ute, which I took out to the bush. The Alvis had two seats, no doors, handbrake on the outside of the body, RHS floor gearstick and wire wheels. I wish I had it now....
Datsun 180B SSS
yep, that will be hard to beat.....be worth a fortune now....

First car was a 1981 Dunnydore, special edition ERWTF that stood for can't remember. Great car, did many trips with the boys from Sydney to Gold Coast in late teens, that was until I flipped it and then rolled it 3 times, saved my life that car. Then with insurance money ( and why who can only know) bought a brand spanking new Astra, which ummmm got repossessed
. Then without car for many many years until my next Commodore a VH SL/E, then Commodore Berlina VN, then a 97 VS, Merc C180 98 model, then had to hand that back when marriage hit the skids
, but kept the VS. ( Sorry I know it was 1st car, but its a bit quiet here on the western front today
). Then moved to the dark side when got an AU Falcon for a company car, then got an AU Falcon SR, then a Territory, got rid of AU SR and got the XR6, then got rid of Territory and got the D3, and now...........................who know's. Still tossing up on whether I get a D2 or go the Fender
. Okily dokilies back to work,
Regards

1980 Rx7 series 1. Was my favorite car - so fun to drive.
Like my landrover, everyone assumed it was unreliable...
Again like my landrover, it never missed a beat (except the starter motor 1 time).
Look after cars and they look after you.
Still running around town, i saw it sometime this year.
Probably my favourite of all Commodores. I have always wanted either a 4.2 or a 5 litre one of these, or an SL/X.Originally Posted by stevo68
