Thread: help me i think there is big expence

We had a depot manager who had to do deliveries in a Mazda 2 ton truck. I went out with him one day ( after he had been driving it for 4 months)and we had gone 10 clicks and the motor was fairly screaming in 4th on the highway. He was moaning how terribly loud and thirsty, slow and hot etc it was.
After 15min I could take it no more myself.
So I told him there was actually a 5th gear he should use.

one of my wifes bosses in Darwin (back when we were newlyweds) bought himself a second hand SIII SWB and complained that the 202 conversion screamed its nipples out and it was chewing front tyres... and Slow.....

Since he was used to driving a sports car, i didnt pay too much attention to the last bit, till I turned up to have a look at it at a BBQ.... lent in the windowless door and pushed the red knob forwards....

FFS, its got a placard... tyre life will be reduced....


This was an officer... with a landrover liscense....
