    thanks
500k's on not much more than half a tank, i sold my 85' rangie to replace it with a 98'tdi auto disco and its the best thing i ever did.

i loved the rangie for the fact that is`was already 21 years old and i could just throw **** in the back and use it like a ute. The disco is much better on road and has a much more modern interior and the missus is not scared of driving it (unlike the rangie). I put $50 of diesel in the last week and still not quite on the light @ 415 k's.

Any landrover diesel if looked after should last oh, several squillion miles.. as will the rest of the vehicle..

    whats that old joke...

after the nuclear holocast all will be left is a lot of bemused landrover drivers rolling down(or sliding opne) their windows and asking the cockroaches "what happend to all the others?"

"In a Landrover the other vehicle is your crumple zone."
