When you say "not for the faint hearted" does that mean that sliders, diff, sump, steering protection is required?

No, more if you are a first timer you may get a shock, I wouldnt lead anyone to destruction but it will be hard 4wding, diff protection will be useful but all these areas have been done by vehicles with little or no protection.

no underbody protection at all, (about 40mm spring lift) but barring unforseen events, I'll be up for giving it a go.

    Just two more questions:

Can it be a later start, I live near Joondalup and it'll take about 2 hours to harvey.

Do the tracks have chicken runs?
The roughest terrain I've been on is sand dunes
    I might bottle out!

    Do you drink whilst driving??

Most have chicken runs and I know the tracks well so I'll be able to help those who havent experienced that sort of 4wding before.
As for the later start we can sort something out there, although I think it may be more than 2 hours from Joondalup

DD, I might be able to get a leave pass around the end of the month. Been pretty busy of late doing weekend work and need to get out and enjoy life for a couple of hours. How about a day trip on the Powerline tracks?? Could take the tracks that end at York.
    Cheers Richard
