Hello
I have arranged a day pass and and would like to come as well if I may, but only if the following conditions apply:
Nobody laughs at me
I am allowed to laugh at everybody
I don't go first anywhere
I don't go last anywhere
Nobody drives more places than me
I am not the only person to get stuck
Somebody spots me at all times
If it goes wrong it is the fault of the spotter
If it goes right it is my driving skill
No videos photos / videos are taken of me in comprimising positions
Any strange noises from myself or my car are taken to be the low growl of a freshly tuned V8
If I breakdown it is due to the quaint charateristics of a 20 year old classic vehicle
If I don't breakdown it is due to my superb mechanical ability to maintain a 20 year old quaint classic vehicle
I don't get dirty
There is jelly and ice-cream for tea
AND I THOUGHT WE ARE A BUNCH OF NUTTERS,YOU ARE THE MAN![]()

As I don't know the Harvey area at all where is a good meet up place?
Good for me would be somewhere with a street address, maybe a pub carpark, shopping centre, whatever?
It just might be hard for me to find "The track that runs behind xyz..."
I'm a bit Geographically challenged![]()
I have a collegue who would like to come.
He drives the strangest contraption I have ever seen. It looks like two perfectly normal 90s bolted together. It is called a ' Landrover 130 '. Looks to me like some sort of stretched carnival float. I really can't make it out, but it maybe good if anybody needs any dead giraffes or any life sized photos of the eiffel tower lying on its side carried about. I have no idea what he intents to do with it but he would like to come and demonstrate.
Thankyou
chainsaw can still be lent if need be; just let me know soon as i've tidied the house a bit too well & cant find half of my ****.
We may have to take you up on that offer if Richardk still thinks we'll need one and no one else who is going has got one?Originally Posted by billnjim

OK The 25th............
Meet at Harvey, opposite the Caltex on the main drag, 8.30 (in the AM!)
Please confirm you are coming.
Bring recovery equipment and ensure you have front recovery points as if the mud track is open some may need pulling through.
Billnjim, if you aren't coming I wont worry about the chainsaw, I think we would need a competent operator (and there may well be one) but if anything happened It could be an awful feeling. If the tree has not been moved we can do that track ata alater date.
