    but then Id have to upgrade to at least a butter box preferabley an R Series to keep my tagline close to how I like it

    Another 4x4 beat up. At that speed (60mph which equals 96kph), even a commodore, ford or a hillman imp would have killed the occupant of the honda!

    Lesson - Stick to the posted speed limits and drive defensively.

    Why don't they do real comparison scientifically ie do a control.
    Fire a civic at 100kmh into another civic and see the mess it makes
    I'll bet it's nearly as bad, but they don't want to tell us that do they

    Spot on! It is interesting how that test could be interpreted. It was supposed to be demonstrating the failure of the Honda Civic to protect its occupants from side impacts but because they used a 4X4 for the impacting vehicle it becomes a demonstration of how dangerous 4X4's are, at least to some viewers. I doubt that the choice of vehicle was arbitrary either.
    I'd like to see how the comments would change if they replaced the heavier vehicle with, say, a school bus?
