Spot on! It is interesting how that test could be interpreted. It was supposed to be demonstrating the failure of the Honda Civic to protect its occupants from side impacts but because they used a 4X4 for the impacting vehicle it becomes a demonstration of how dangerous 4X4's are, at least to some viewers. I doubt that the choice of vehicle was arbitrary either.
I'd like to see how the comments would change if they replaced the heavier vehicle with, say, a school bus?

I'd like to see the result of the collision with an identical Honday Civic. You can bet the result would be both small cars destoyed and occupants killed.
