    That WILL be the case. It will kick down to a lower gear & so rev a lot harder.

    Try accelerating gently at 100kph - you'll notice it better then.

    the auto box locks at different speeds depending on how hard you have the pedal pushed..

    on mine....

    a gentle pedal will see the box lock at around 78k

    pedal flat to the floor mine does it at well over 110k

    wouldnt be surprised to see a lot of vehicles behave differently tho....

    As Big Jon says all I notice is the tacho needle drop and you should mainly be able to see it on the flat. Remember if you put your right foot down even gently when passing or coming to the foot of a hill it will drop back a gear.

    Hi Guys

    Done some testing and yes... once its settled at speed it locks up and stays locked to about 80k's so put my foot down (not hard enough to induce a kickdown) and it does accelerate in relation....
