They will be paying through the rear end for part imports in a few years just like us Landy owners.
Yea Pic of Mit****abishies, My Disco could do that better. If that flower wagon went anymore it would roll and crumple in to a pancake.
It goes great Simon. Dirt roads are very comfy as the L400 ('94 on) has the front wheels in front of the driver, not underneath as in the old model. Every that opens and shuts - and I mean everything - it's an absolute luxo barge.
They're all imported as grey imports - ala the Toymota Surf. Parts aren't a problem though as there are a large number of dealers actually getting into them now. Mechanically idntical to the Paj underpinnings, so no problems with parts or servicing there.
Top heavy?

It's a van... and it's pretty good at that too. The van will never even be asked to do the "hard" stuff. I have my Defender (sorry... not a Disco but I've heard just as good) for the "hard" stuff. It'll be shuttling our stuff around the countryside a heck of a lot better than our Land Rover can. I can't remember when I turned this into a competition........ if you think that I'm trying to tell the good people that "my Delica will beat your Disco" then I reckon you need to take a long hard look at the previous posts. The fact that it goes off road at all should be commended, not denegrated. Meanwhile... while my 380 gearbox in my two year old Defender is being ripped out and repaired for the SECOND time, I'll be driving around in a vehicle that actually works.
