Finally a cheap part for the Disco.

That's right I found a cheap part for a Landy. It's the thermostat I can get one for $5.50 brand new from one of my suppliers, it's not for me but for my brothers disco. I though it would have been plus $30. So now I'm happy and I can say that landies aren't dear to fix.

That's really good, eh? I might put one in mine. LOL

Frankly D1 parts are pretty ok, generally, from what I've found.

(and courtesy of our wonderful suppliers on here)

At lease a new key for mine wont cost like $400, unlike a Commodore, bro had a wheel bearing go in his VT and that was around the same... had to buy a new stub axle assy.

    Go the old(er) simple stuff!

You're doing a great job of ensuring I never get a P38a Ron....

Think my next will be the last - a basic last ever build Disco 1, circa 1998?

    Sorry, hijacking....

    cheers, GQ

The P38a is the 2nd generation range rover. The model before the current one.

Ron, where are you buying your parts from ?
That's near full retail from a dealer !!

I would have thought that the LR place at Silverwater would have been cheaper. Even I could have saved you around $40 .
