This sounds like a suitable idea for dealing with the cat(s?) that is getting into a habit of going along my side fence then jumping onto the car (honda) and scraping/sliding down the windscreen. Not only does it put lovely scratch marks on the windscreen, it makes a damned big mess all over the rest of the thing. Only does it at night, and during the day they seem to all go underneath the car.

Just as well the LR is safe in the garage (with the rats)

Oh, and I don't like them.

I like cat as much as I like cane toads. Send them back where they came from and things will be fine.

They probably do taste like chicken... mmmm.... kitten pie (Yahoo Serious' Young Einstein mental asylum scene comes to mind)

We always had cats when I lived at home. It was fun when I was a kid but then I found out what pest they realy are in Oz... and one of the cast dies of cat aids - horrible stuff.

Cats are not useless - they are good for science experiments. When my missus was doing her honours at Sydney Uni a professor in a lab next to hers was researching something to do with optic nerves. For this he needed experiment subjects that would be alive but completly out of it. Cats. Spread out on a table and doped. Wires sticking out of their heads and plugged into machines. Frankenstein type of thing...

... and before anyone jumps up an calls the RSPCA, Syd Uni has a very strict ethics policy and all this was approved by the ethics board.

Put the cats in the shed with the rats, problem solved; and they'll even bring you little presents, like tails and feet and stuff. They like to show their appreciation.

And btw(for all); we don't argue with RobHay! LOL....

Sorry to hear about your loss.

I adore cats & had a chocolate burmese too who died a number of years ago at the ripe old age of 19. She was such a character. Always managed to put the German Shepherd in his place.

We've now got 4 - all moggies: white one who's deaf as a post! Talk about no fear! Suppose if you can't hear you got no fear!

Cats can be fantastic companion animals just as dogs can and I dont have a problems with cats as individuals per se Wild or feral cats on the other hand are a plauge on native Australian Fauna and should be eradicated

ans yes when I was professionally shooting if I was wne it was one less cat. BTW we have two cats at home both of em are lovely but if they were in the bush I would shoot them too.

This story has only a little to do with cats, but, for the record I like cats.

This is the stroy of creation as told in the Standard Aussie Bloke Bible.

On the first day, God created the day for going to football and barbecues, and the night for going prawning, sleeping, and barbecues.

On the second day, He created water for surfing, swimming, and barbecues on the beach.

On the third day, he created the earth to bring forth plants to provide malt and yeast for beer and wood for barbecues.

On the fourth day he created animals and crustaceans to provide stealk, chops, sausages, and prawns for the barbecue.

On the fifth day he created the Aussie bloke to go surfing, swimming, drink the beer, and eat the steak, sausages, chops and prawns from the barbecue.
