Main LR Models - for Numpties Missus

The main LR models I can think of are:

    Series I
    Series II
    Series IIA
    Series IIA Lightweight (added)
    Series IIA FC
    Series IIB FC
    Series III
    Series III Lightweight (added)
    Series III Game (added)
    101FC
    Series III Stage 1
    Range Rover Classic
    County
    Perentie
    Perentie 6x6 (added)
    P38a Range Rover
    Defender 200tdi era (incl. V8's)
    Discovery 200tdi era (incl. V8's)
    Defender 300tdi era (incl. V8's)
    Discovery 300tdi era (incl. V8's)
Defender Series II - Td5 era (incl. V8's)
Discovery Series II - Td5 era (incl. V8's)
    Freelander
    Range Rover
    Discovery 3
    Range Rover Sport

They are, as far as I remember, the main models of LR. I've tried to list them as much in chronological order as possible. Of course we could also split it down further into Series I 80", Series I 86", etc. - or even down to engine types if you want to get really granular - like I did with the Defenders....

I'm curious if I've missed one of the major models though and if people feel I should keep the Defenders as seperate based on the main diesel engine model used at the time. I've done it that way as there were significant changes to the Defender model at those times and the diesel engines were the most known component to signify those changes - no offence meant to the V8 owners out there

Alrighty - Lightweights - which year where they? Series III'ish?

Sorry Brian I wasn't aware of any 110 FC's? Do you have a link or somewhere I can get some more information on them?

The 6x6's I would put in with the Perentie's - are they the ones you are referring to? The ones the Aussie military uses? If so I will add them under the Perentie that's already there...

    Yup and both were mentioned

I knew about the 101FC - or should I say I dream about them? Alas it will never be, my wife thinks they look absolutely butt ugly so she'll never allow me to have one They did do a prototype for a civilian 101 FC but it never took off so was scrapped early (dunno if it ever even got out of prototype stage)

I had a friend who had a Series IIA FC so I knew about the 2 different types of Series FC's (IIA and II but didn't realise that the Series IIB FC was actually on a 110 wheelbase - which I assume would be the one that Brian Hjelm asked about...

If you like we could try and make it even more granular There's levels upon levels of Land Rovers you know

Should you add gunbuggys, LRPV's, bloodboxes of all types, middleweights (theres only 2) and the elusive centre steer that im sure is in a barn somewhere. Oh and the roadless rover forestry vehicles

If you split diesel and petrol Defenders, what about the Isuzu engined County?
Also there was a prototype which was to replace the FC called the Llama, and not a bad looking truck either. Has featured in LROI in the past.
