Oh, didn't realise that... Still it was good when they used it.

I just googled kentic suspension was very impressed with what I read. Looks like the way of the future. Is it really as good as all the hype?

The thought of that set up going into the new crusier's really gives me the sh@t's.

The thing that stumped me is it will be BIGGER. We can equally read HEAVIER into that as well... I'm not sure bigger and heavier is necessarily a good thing in a 4wd..

The next 4WD after the Defender I like is the Hummer.

I was going to say that this setup will only be seen in the fancy models but now I have read the article I can see they already said that.

    This made me laugh though

The 200 Series is based on a new separate-chassis structure, with double-wishbone front and live axle rear-end to ensure it retain its mountain-goat ability.

Just goes to show that Toyota need two turbos to match the power of a single turbo smaller capacity engine. Gotta love em.

Why not D3 is bigger and heavier than D2 likewise to D1. RR has same history. Nissan have done it, Toyota have done it.... so why would any of them change now.

Having said that the 100 Series LC is already extremely big, fuel inefficient etc so why make it worse?

I would at least like to see the option of other engines in the Defender like the TDV6 and TDV8 and yes the petrol V8, even if you have to pay a premium at least give us the choice!

I know the current (and future) engines are frugal and practical and all that but in the real world how can a 2.4L diesel compete against a TDV8??
