The army wont change the colours of the abrham due to the armour on. The fact that its got something to do with the infra-red capability, you paint over it it gets covered up. I got a slight run down on them at pucka on a course. Got to see the first abrhams course (first in aust) fire their main guns!!!! Big bangs, some sargeant gave a run down on it....

Got video footage too, wont down load it, may get in trouble....

Herald Sun did another article on this today plugging it's use and the costs. First time I had seen it but I was a good boy and searched for previous articles.

To me, Landrovers and Bling dont mix and that is just way too much Bling for no lagitimate reason other than to look like complete W****ers.

Im sure it could have been built alot cheaper as a static display and had about the same effect if they just had to do it but that would be thinking wouldnt it.

It's about recuitment. They won't attract Lad Rover drivers with it - they want people who put oversized wheels and purple lights on otherwise stock Commodores.

They know their market. I think it's a clever recruitment idea, just heejusly expensive.

to me it is just a big pile of bat guano, better and cheaper to strap a couple of FA18 general electric turbines onto the tray - it just as useless but but much more visually impressive.

4x4, 6x6, 8x8 what eva are meant to go off road not some pansy wimpy 1/4 mile. I love the drags but it is horses for courses. Slap an old Austin A40 cab on it and that would be cool.
