Nice rig. Gotta love the 130, I tow a mates 8.5m platey with Volvo 200hp stern drive.
All up rig on triple axle trailer is 3.5ish but being a mono it is only 2.5m wide.
Luckily we only have to go about 10 blocks so I dont even take it out of low.

Cant imagine having to drive 15km - Im paranoid the 50mm tow ball will just snap or something!!! Love the quad trailer - I imagine she is pretty well balanced with minimal hitch download.

    Where do you play?

    Snaphead,
    Just re-reading this thread.
Im sure that the guys at sailfish will be able to sort your propping problem but if your only pulling 5grand "lightly" loaded and trim out leads to ventilation and or cavitation, then dropping the legs is unlikely to help. Dropping the leg will decrease WOT RPM irrespective of trim angle. Permatrims generally wont help bow lift either, they lift the stern up until the plank is out of the water from where they simply suck fuel.

Generally it is my understanding that cats need heavily cupped props due to the dirty water present at the rear sponsons and can respond well to 4 blade designs. Id guess you will have to pitch down to get those RPM up...

If sailfish dont get it right have a yarn to Steve Evans at Solas. On that boat its worth getting the props dialled in!

    Them 175zuks are sweet eh!
