					Hi mate. In answewr to some of your questions, I upgraded to a series 2 disco from a series 1. both are / was auto V8. The series 2 (4ltr) has proven to be no problems at all, and not as thirsty as the 3.pltr series 1. The extractors I've fitted to the series 2 has improved power and fuel economy - not by much but noticable non the less. Off road with the diff lock re connected - series 2 had them fitted but not connected and running Cooper STs I haven't had any problems. On road in the wet the Coopers are great - I swear by them after having used other brands in similiar conditions. On the highway the increased noise level is negligable with no ill effects to stearing or breaking.
