    Kings Boar Rd

Just a couple of quick snaps of our latest trip to the beach.

I've seen a few 4wds deop out of nowhere onto the beach near the bus parking spot at coloured sands on the coast,, if you look hard you can see a bit of a dark red track, but could never figure out how to get there. There is a sign at the bottom saying One-Way. Do Not Enter.
and its too steep to walk up.

Thanks to our local forum members its now an alternate to the freshwater track, though longer and rougher.

(following pics not indicative of packet contents)

This is the turn off point, from here its a 10 min drive to the beach, or TL and its the return loop/other half of Kings Boar Rd.

included in those 10 minutes are 3 or 4 of extreme downhill sand canyon stuff (stick your hand out and touch the sand walls,, well over car height) where you literally drop on to the beach.
    good stuff.

Hey pedro what do you mean to steep to climb, I sure a couple of cans of that rubbish (XXXX) you drink whould have got u up it the hill

I did the track last year with a mate, all high range except for the final few metres on to beack, the fresh water had cut a big drop off, the bullbar became a bull dozer

Like any of those sand tracks they change regularly. I have driven it twice and never had trouble but the first time the exit on the King's Bore track had the Rodeo nose into the creek and it stopped on the bullbar . Just needed a little right boot to push it through. The second time had a much easier exit.

When you enter the track from the Rainbow Beach Road you will come to an intersection. It is a loop road but if you only want to get to the beach then the right hand track is much shorter.
