had the same problem in both my defender and RR, after I bought them second hand. clean out all the drainage areas, not only the door ones but around the underside of the car as well - its amazing how much water can collect in the car, and equally amazing how little care the previous owners took of ther cars..

    cheers

Defender ... Water leak ... Front doors

Yes these words all go together.

    Isn't it a design feature?

i think someone might have fitted a seal when you werent looking.......

defenders dont hold water in.........or out.......

but do clean out the drain holes in the bottoms of your doors to let the water drain out.......

Clean the drain holes and maybe add a few. If not they tend to rust quickly.

run your finger between the rubber seal on the door bottom and the outer door skin, oyu will feel 2 bumps, one midway and one at the front corner, stick some wire up them and jiggle it around.

I clean mine out with zip ties, nice and thin and wont scratch the paint and cause rust.
