    an offer too good to refuse

    Hi Guys
    Went out for a few beers this arvo.
    Been offered a 1984 Stage1 County Station wagon,3.5V8 on gas spare set of wheels/tyres and pto capstan winch.
    Its un licenced,has a rough paintjob that will blast off with a pressure cleaner(so Im told,its peeling off)
    Best thing is its only 2 ks away and $700!!!!!!!!

    I thought the Stage 1 was replaced by the 110 in 1983 - so is it a Stage 1 or a 110? (The County trim was available in both). Either way, unless it is rusting into the ground, it is well worth that much, even with the V8.

    Apparently the last of the leaf sprung Counties,I nearly bought one years ago.
    Dont know what I will do with it if I buy it,but realise I would get at least $700 for the capstan and pto drive!!!!!
    Problem is I dont have 7 $100 bills lying around at the moment!!!!

    The last of our Army stage 1's were 1986 models, must have kept making them for a while for special orders.

    Sounds like a bargain, I hope you can raise the $$$

    I would love to have garage space for a "parts" rangie and maybe a series fixer upper.
