Too much credit and not enough braincells...

I would love to pull a tyre off to show him the not for hwy service stamp on the inside of them.

Good luck with insurance oh yeah he wouldn't have any money left so he won't got any while he will be the bloke tailgating you up the road and weaving in and out of traffic.

Mass generalisation, I think so but in my experience unless he sells drugs for a living he wouldn't be able to afford them and if he's rich and not into drugs he would have better taste and would just buy a RR sport, or he's just an idiot with a credit card.

As far as each to their own, if it doesn't get driven on the road then yes fine but if it does then he's breaking the law as rims like that on a 2 1/2 tonne car are illegal and dangerous.

30" jobbies have already been fitted to a 'cruiser (black of course) which is seen often picking up the kids from skoooool and that's here in the supposed country......

    whatever....

poor old hiline has a few issues with alloy wheels at the moment, one wonders how these fellas will last...

I know, they're only wheels for f@#ks sake.
I don't care that people hate them, not a big fan myself, BUT i do hate people calling a very good mate of mine a ****** or a drug dealer cause he has a set of over the top wheels.
sorry for my rant, just defending a mate not his wheels

I commend you for backing your mate (not many do that nowadays) but if his taste in wheels were as good as his mates there wouldn't be an issue.

Well good on your mate for at least doing something with his car. Too many people just drive boring econo-boxes from A-B. At least he has some passion.

The comments would be a bit different on a Ricer forum. Most people here are into off-road, and way older than the Ricer demographic.
