Just come to jolly old Canberra and wander the city carparks, You will see many pimped 4wds of all shapes and makes with those big wheels on em, you see any mud on them or the car either coz they dont get them dirty, they just want to ba sitting up a bit higher then the rest. On some cars they look ok, on others they look like crap, if the car doesnt go bush thats the owners problem, and gives the rest of a laugh
There is a dead set ****** driving around Northern Brisbane, in a Tojoissanbishi something. It is black, has the most horrid chrome wheels, with tyres 2 inches high!!!
And yes, he drives it with the ****** fog lights on.
By the look of him, he's old enough to shave and appears to have a car license.
It must be an age thing....
Cheers
I know in SA the cops are getting pretty hot on non standard size wheels at present. Anything bigger than the fitment chart or basically bigger than 19" can and will be booked. For those with HSV's etc with 21" wheels from the dealer check your wheel charts on the car. My cousin has just had his VZ yellow stickered for having 21's on it. Even though they were fitted by a HSV dealer.
I do not like them and they are generally poser / bling value. Each to their own though. The benefit of these 4x4s that are not used off road is that they eventually provided good second hand 4x4s for those of us that buy second hand. It is this generation and their bad taste. No different to the differences of our taste and probablly our parents when we were younger. Variety is what makes life interesting and our comments should not be too harsh or personal. I do not like Fords, but can appreciate them and that does not make their owners tossers, err yes it does.

yhea your spot on in that regarde as i said in my post a good price for something that will make a top offroader for someone oneday!!! but u could allso take it as a complimet that they would use a truck as nice as the range rover is, as a base for those wheels,
thats the way i think anyway
cheers
