    Best bands live?

This is a really tough call for me. But for different reasons, here are some. There are more but here's a few............................................
Suzie Quatro 1974 Festival Hall Melb. I was 15, she wore leather.
Status Quo 1975 Festival Hall Melb. Still love those riffs.
Rod Stewart 1977 Myer Music Bowl. The Brit Eckland days.
Lou Reed 1977 Palais St.Kilda. So drug f&@3d, it was a larf.
Queen, two nights in 1985 at the old sports and entertainment centre Melb.(Still the best audio visual show I have seen).
Billy Joel 1987 Kooyong Melb. Third row centre.
AC/DC 1988 Rod Lavour Melb. Permanent ear damage.
The Eagles Hell Freezes Over Tour, Rod Lavour Melb. Second row, dead centre, brilliant sound.

In no particular order: (gigs i remember....)

Focus, Ritchie Blackmores Rainbow, Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Abba, Stones, Fleetwood Mac, Golden Earring, BTO,

ZZTop at the SEC were crap.

Stevie Nicks and crew including Vanessa Carlton (young piano playing babe) at the Gold Coast EC last year was brilliant.

S Sorenson, Rodney Rude, Sandy Gutman, Mandy Nolan..... for those of you who love comedy....

Sherbet - nice bunch of guys
La De Das - see above
Hush - amazing - gday Les
Aussie Crawl - filled the house - but didn't get a word of any lyric - subtitles, James?

The Pigram Brothers live at the Pearl Luggers in Broome. Seven Brothers who can all play and harmonise really well. Fantatastic original songs, balmy August night, couple of scotches...what more could you want. And they had no problem with me filming them too.

BB King late 80s /early 90s with clarence clemmons in tow. He was followed by this band called U2 which were pretty good but BB stole the show

Midnight Oil supported by INXS and others Noosa AFL ground 83 or 84

Walked into The Roxy nightclub in Brissy one night in and Mental as Anything were playing under an assumed name mainly doing 60s rock n roll. Awesome
