Living in airlie beach and knowing quiet afew woman, turns out two of them worked at the farm he has there, and we spent many a times at the Jubilee pub and in the park talking ****.

Absolute champion bloke and crazy with his crocs, he is/was my idol up there... every other minute was spent ****ed as a bug in a puddle of bourbon... congregating with the other bar flies

I have played back yard cricket with Alec Stewart - former captain of England.

Many years ago he used to Come out to Aus in the summer and play in the local Perth competition. He was going out with my mate's sister and would often join us for a tonk.

Oh yeah, I forgot. Actually went to school with and played under 8's Aussie Rules (as it was known then) with former NSW and Australian opening batsman John Dyson, who took one of the best outfield catches you will ever see in a cricket match. Showing my age I know.

I met David Bowie twice. I was a partner in a london based software company, working out of Boston, and we built www.bowieart.com (changed dramatically since) - which was one of the first ecommerce sites - we had to talk to porn site owners to see how the did the bank end. We had stict instructions on protocol of meeting him, including not saying we were big fans and not asking for autographs. As part of the project we picked up a set of 4 limited edition lithographs, variously entitled D Head somthing, which were self portaits. they sold back in 1998 for $250 each, and would think they are worth a pretty penny now.

I also used to park next to Sophie Ryhs Jones in our underground car park when I worked in West London in 1999. She worked for a PR agency in the office next to us, before she became a royal. She was very beautiful back. One day she suddenly had her long blond hair cut in a lady Diana style, and next thing I know I couldn't get into my office for the press and announcement of her engagement to Prince edward.

There is a corker of a boasting story thayt goes with this, but I daren't put it in a public forum. If I ever see you on the tracks, crack a beer and I will probably tell ya. lol
