Sounds like you get on with your dad, so why not stick with him? He is your dad - one day you wont have any parents so enjoy him while you can...

Oh, it's great when they leave home!

Ya I know what you mean mate, but it's just a possibility for now, I will be moving out of home within the next few years anyway, possibly to Canada.
I do see all the good points to move and experience something new but my best mate here is literally like the brother I should of had while growing up, hard to explain really. Moving away from the few family members I have left is also something I consider, and only having just caught up with my uncle after not seeing him since I was 4 or 5 years old...

Although I did think of WAs licence laws and the non restriction of V8s over there, which would put my mind at ease whilst driving Range Rovers on my Ps.

On a side-note, could anyone from WA shed some light on a registration cost of a 80s Range Rover (Pre emission), and if at all possible what costs would be for getting WA plates etc etc. Would we need to get our Range ran through a thorough blue slip in order to get it registered within another state? In its current state it will not pass a blueslip, it's not unsafe it is just showing its age if you know what I mean, and showing the abuse of some previous owner/s.

I really appreciate everyones insight to this and especially the help offered by fellow Landies in WA.
