    Dutchie van Ulft

Just had him in here getting some work done on the UK spec Defender 110.

Engine oil and filter, air filter, fuel filter. Grease the underside as required.

Also spotted the badly worn draglink balljoint (LHS), now replaced. And the plastic plug in the thermostat housing (fell to bits while extracting, brass plug now fitted).

He and his wife were very friendly and appeared to be having a great time in their travels. The service book had some interesting stamps too .

Yeah, we get the odd one or two through here.

He is coming back on Tuesday for heavy duty axles and Maxi Drive flanges.

Parked out the front doesn't count! You only bought brake pipes, didn't get us to fit them!

Ok good point . But did find out that a 110 rear brake pipe will fit a Disco rear axle with no problems

Would if I could. We don't have a scanner. I will take note of the different countries in there on Tuesday.

Didn't get a chance to look in the service book again.

We didn't end up fitting the maxi flanges. He decided to keep it all original LR. LR axles, LR drive flanges. No conversion to oil lubed wheel bearings. Less $$ in labour, many more $$ in parts.
