    Just a general question, NOT a criticism.

    I posted two new threads today but only one shows up, why is that?

    Is it because they are in different sections, (Technical & general chat)?
    Maybe because I viewed one of them after posting?

    I know someone will know why.

    I haven't got this completely worked out, so perhaps a real expert can tell you, but in my experience there's a "time out" factor - if you keep doing things you are "active" but if you don't do anything new for long enough the system considers you've gone and rejoined and so "new" starts after whatever you last did.

    Yea it seems to be better than it was but if you arn't moving around on the site everything becomes read and only the latest very recent ones show up as unread.
