    S3 Roofracks

    Hi,
    we are looking for some roof racks for the S3 with tropical roof.

    I was wondering if a Defender roof rack would fit?

    Any ideas/past experience?

    I know where there's one you can just have (I think) - I sold my house yesterday and left the rack there with plants climbing on it. I'm sure the new owners would be only too pleased to have it removed. Home-made jobby out of steel with mesh floor, off a Stage 1 wagon. Is Toowoomba too far to go?

    But to answer your question, yes a Defender one would also fit.

    That is some excellent news!

    What do you guys use to get onto those roof racks while on the road? I already thought about the ladder ... something else?

    Also ... what brands you use? In addition to "my Own", "DoItYourSelf", "CanWeld" and "CableTie and LeccyTape"
