    Nutter (link http://phorums.com.au/showthread.php't=231824)

Defenitely had no right to park on private property though. Although a provate person has no right to do any damage to the vehicle in order to move it either. defenitly one for the cops!

You do actually have every right to remove a vehicle that is blocking your driveway illegally. You by law must have egress to your property. Only emergency vehicles or officers of the law may impede. The other option is as it is in your driveway, takle his wheels. Or better still block him front and back.
We as emergency response have legal authority to move or get through any vehicle that is illegally impeding emergency vehicle access.

I just hope that the use of "Land Rover" in this complaint was a generic term. The mindset sounds like that of a Patrol or Cruiser driver.

In NSW, it is illegal to park across even one's own driveway. You will get fined by parking cops.
