i paid around 350 last year sounds sounds about right to me

not much, Ace, if any, from what I've read....
however, I like the windows tinted for another reason, the shading helps reduce sunlight pouring in, as in, if you are say, driving south on a hot sunny clear afternoon, then the western sun is somewhat dimmed....
apparently, tinting also reduces UV rays penetrating the cabin, (but I thought glass already did this anyhow.... so....)
personally, I think it does make a diff to a vehicle standing, controls dont get so baked on our hot summer days... the internal thermometer has never exceeded 50º in the disco, but the falcon sedan has seen 55º+
reducing the ability of thermal conductivity may be the real key...
