G'day All
I'm after a bit of confirmation and trying to satisfy myself I've done the right thing.
See I got the Landy windows tinted today and its a brilliant job. They put the 35% (maximum allowable) on the side windows and super dark on the sides of the canopy and the rear window.
Thing is it cost $400. Does this sound like a reasonable price? I did try to get one other quote but the guy didn't want to do the job because of having to remove the curved glass in the back windows.![]()
Let me know what u think.
Well, the delaer I got the D3 from usually charges $700 for tinting, so your price is definitely better than that. (What a shame they tinted my car by mistake instead of the other D3 in the same colour where the owner had actually requested it!)
Bet no-one can beat free for a tint job.![]()

I buy cars approx every 3 years and have had all mine tinted.
I usually get the Formula One from Tint-A-Car which are legal and pretty dark.......they are also scratch proof and block out 99.9 UV.
I get it for $295 only because I have had approx 10 cars done their.........$400 sounds spot on I reckon.....![]()
Thanks Guys
I'm feeling much more comfortable about it now. It looks like a brilliant job so time will tell. At least ppl can't look in the back now and see everything. Mrs will be a bit happier if we campingppl won't see her without her kit on
so easily.

I got our fender tinted. Only downside is the flat glass means lots of reflections at night![]()
This Disco was done 4 years ago all round, including the curved roof windows from $330, and done very well too, not a bubble or peel, in all that time.
