Yeah the competition for naming rights is hotting up, naturally I get the final say. My contenders at this stage are Fang, Conan and Chisel, we also have thrown into the basket, Bandit, Bear, Scooby Doo as I have mentioned, Shadow. I tried to get in Fender, Disco, Rangie and Landy but the missus frowned upon that saying the "obsession" which I call passion, the line has to be drawn somewhere. Will most likely leave for a day or 2 after he has come home to see what his personality is really like. Anyhoo time to go and have a cold one with my ol mate Benz and tell him about the new young edition from his sisters litter
, Im sure he is running around somewhere giving cat's hell

Nice one stevo........they're just too nice to say NO to eh,
It'll be like waiting for Christmas in your house.......every day i bet the Kids will ask...'is he coming home today dad?".....
All the best,
Pug
Ronja (Mum), Kane (Dad), and Nitro ("Puppy")
Nitro was one of seven that we kept for a friend, he was called "Puppy" for about three months until we(I) realised he was now ours and got a name .... possible names included:
Cash (good cash for the other six)
Plasma (could've sold him and got a plasma)
ended up with Nitro (still haven't got that new Nitro snowboard either)
Good news for you, and good wishes
can't beat a shepherd in my book

Aside from my work dogs its really good to get a real landrover 'mans' dog like this
they are very versatile, don't take up much room and can sit in the consol if the car is full.
they also double up as cattle dogs, if you move to the wide open spaces out of suburbia
excellent, looks so tough when you drive down the road with a maltie on your arm.
john
We used to breed Golden retrievers, train them for retrieving competitions and compete in retriveing plus use them for duck/rabbit shooting.
Competitions made for a pre dawn trip to Perth or beyond with 3 to4 goldens in the back of the falcoon wagon.
Without fail one of the bitches would let out a dogfart or 3,windows down almost throw up material gasp for fresh air!!!!
Once,it was lambing time Debs old bitch presented us with a stinking bright red chunder, emergency stop evacuate, stinking abterbirths she had sneaked out to eat before the trip.
the sight of them 3 big german sheperds in the back of the Disco brought the memories back as if it was yesterday.
Dogs,great mates!!!!!

Here you go, you shepherd fanciers, my first work dog, they don't make them like him anymore, older style working dog, no drop at the croup, long body no show stance tuck! A real good looking dog.
Dux of the course and a real bone crunching bitter,
Alas he is now in a vase on the mantel piece.
john
stevo,i have been following the dog sadness and think you're on the right track.
now the new puppy should have a good strong name.
here's one -
tamaljon -alias gengis khan's real name. [not sure about the spelling] pronounced - tamil john.
puppy pics look great,
theres always - guinness, crown, vb, cooper,[s]. toohey, forex, abbot[ts], shep, jonnie walker, etc.
ours is jazz, but mostly 'big ugly dog', but would also answer to 'food'
let the kids pick the name.
