    Rover Rendesvous 7

Went on an event 2 weekends ago where the Rover clubs from Los angeles, Las Vegas and Sanfransisco were to meet in the desert for a 3 day camping and off road adventure.

Long story short - it fell WAY short of expectation because everyone kept to themselves and had a "My truck is cooler than your truck" attitude.

Well - for the 91 RRC I went in, which didn't even have license plates in it, I remembered the various eurpean back packing vacations I've been on where the Ausie's were THE COOLEST people to meet on the trail time after time.

Perhaps I'll get down there one of these days with people who seem to be the last of their kind when it comes to remembering what it is we're here for.

    Best wishes - Elias

Exactly the opposite down here, we love admiring each other's trucks.

Well some certainly like abusing others don't they

    Shame really

I was going to post something but then thought better of it, and it would of been pointless anyway.

There were some great photos in there, also that P38a looked great to me, considering you don't see many of them modified.

    Baz.

That's what I thought. That P38 was cool - wait 'till I post a picture of homer. . . Thats Homer down there in Green. 80 degrees in the desert - snowing in the mountains behind us. . .

I just read some of that.
