    Well done - I have seen that happen a couple of times. I see you did it good and proper (destroyed propshaft as well).

    Definitely take the advice above and tube the new trailing arms (easy to do yourself if you can use a welder).

    Engineers don't like welding on the trailing arms, therefore slide it on and silicon it to stop i rattling.

    I reckon the the tube for that job would be aircraft chrome moly tubing. Very strong, made in lots of sizes, accurate and seamless.
