What is this cane thing....a little bit on the soft "do-gooder" woosie side isn't it..... For God's sake........what is wrong with 300 stripes with the cat o' nine tails. I tell you this....they will certainly think twice before they do it again if they are looking at 600 stripes for 2nd offence. One of the Carribean Islands issued 10 stripes with the cat about 3 months ago. Fellow when he recovered was very applogetic.......apart from looking like a tic-tac-toe board.
