I once polished my 2a, I dont know what came over me but I wished I never did as half the paint was chipped and kept taking big chunks off with the buff so ended up having to do it by hand.
It ended up looking like a 2 tone green and bright polished alloy that the solar guard wouldnt stick to when we got a roller out to fix it.
It's ok, Killrust worked in the end.
The Disco gets a Bday once a year where I give it a bath inside and out and a good polish, I tend to do it when its giving me the sh1ts as then it rejuvinates the interest in it because it looks so good.
Dont feel ashamed Clarkey, it will look like a Deffa again as soon as you find a nice muddy hole to drop it in.
The trim cleaning stuff is going a bit far though, nothing like the look of polish on black plastic.
