    g'day Adrian;

    I've got a disco series 1 not a defender, their carpet laminated on the foam lining has a reputation to delaminate ,the sagging is also due to foam, it's not riggid enought to keep the same shape, I have completely re-done mine, took it off , fibre-glassed it on roof side , took off the old crappy cloth and re-carpetted it with my choice of water proof carpet , looks a Million bucks, that's the only way I knew how to fix the sagging roof permanantly and make it look good.

    i can upload pics.let me know

    My Defender is also suffering from this, my D1 did to and I got the hole lining replaced. Haven't worked out what to do with the Defender's yet though.

    never tried it but would it be possible get a can of spray glue with a flexi straw type nozle and from the edge of the lining spay in glue then support it until it's dry?

    maybe things just can't be that easy?

    My Rangie has drawing pins dotted all over the roof. Works well.
