Anyone in Perth wants to meet up...?

    Hi all,

We've been travelling in Oz for the last 6 months and used the forum on this website a couple of times, which was a great help.
Just want to give a shout that we will be in Perth from Sunday before we will ship the Landy to South Africa. Maybe somebody wants to meet up and wants to see a real pommy Land Rover...

    Bye for now

Did you ever make it to Adelaide at all? I sent you an email a LONG time ago to see if you'd like to call in if you were passing but didn't hear back. Must have got stomped by your anti-spam. Never mind!

Nice looking Landy. Would have liked to take a peek at it. Are you driving back to Scotland via Africa? What's your general route?

    Cheers

I might be up for a beer - depending on other commitments...

Let me know when you get here and I will see what I can do.

They made it to Alice Springs .

On another note, I had Martine and Robert at my place for dinner last night. I just sent them on their way now with clean engine oil too.
Lovely couple, they spoke highly of you.

Yeah, depending on timing and where you'll be, Sunday may work.

Nice to hear they are still going well. Did they cook anything for you? They did a bit when they were here - excellent of course probably due to their Frenchness!

That 2003 RR I bought that was one of 'yours' is still going nicely. I LOVE that diesel engine. Good power and stunning economy. Pity it doesn;t ever get washed, but not much point on the farm in this weather.

No chance to sample their cooking, but they ate everything we put in front of them!

Those TD6 Rangies are very nice, but I can't wait to try a new TDV8.

    Sorry spudboy,

we didn't make it to Adelaide as we raced in 5 days to Sydney from Perth in December because of some commitments. Sorry, for not replying. Can't remember getting your message but if I did, sorry for not replying!!
Bit busy if you drive a Landy around the world you know and internet not always available....

Anyway, we are staying with friends in Cottlesloe and still up for a beer. Anyone up for a quick beer at the Ocean Beach Hotel 2mrw ???

If you make it lunch-time, we could probably pop in for an hour or two?

    Cheers,
