Actually, I'd like some recipes for pig, goat, camel and roos - as well as an idiots guide on how to get them ready for the pit once you've shot them - they're a bit bigger than the rabbits & hares I'm used to doing! :)Quote:

I am sorry that your sense of humour was not on board, when reading the recipe list.
While RSPCA volunteers do a fantastic job, it is a sorry indictment that one feels offended at a cat recipe joke.
Those of us that are the outdoorsy types and members of other associations know of the RSPCA extremisms

Just when i feel a cat funny coming on, i can't find my two volumes of things to do with a dead cat, perhaps ugh boots for the cold this time of the year would be appropriate.
While chenz makes a good point on the skills of numptys missus with cooking feral things, perhaps that too is not appropriate.
Or perhaps a jaffle iron bread and baked beans.
Jik22, the best thing about bigger game is take the tender bits off, the back fillets and the like, or perhaps a leg on the goat, and don't overcook.
Thrasher the best way to get a small pelt off, is use an aircompresor and blow it off.
All in all nearly all of us enjoy a good laugh, and that thread was in that category.

Personally I don't like the idea of people getting amusement out of causing pain towards animals. I do however enjoy eating them. I would not eat a tabby but I would and have eaten a lamb, veal, chicken, goat, piggy and fish. Where does this leave me? Humans have canine teeth and molars for a reason.
Put it this way if it is killed in a humaine way and cooked nicely I too would eat a pussy.
