When I was a kid, we lived in the inner city of Sydney. Grandfather said he was going to take me overseas. We got on a ferry and went to Manly!

If Tassie is an 'international' destination, it would be exotic.

Will someone down there please vote out Paul Lennon?

Hey Joel, Gourlays is a 4 minute walk from where I work

Yes, postage rates are normal , But freight is very expensive becvause the companies pump up the prices. same with petrol, but it's all about making more money if you ask me.

The only dumb question is the one that is never asked.

Plenty of people have asked for Tasmania to be "removed", some still think it should be.

I was all for Joh when he wanted to cecede Qld from Aus and make us a seperate 'country'

Postage is the same from Tas, but flights off the island for residents are slightly higher - something to do with extra weight and 2nd headroom restrictions.

    Flame on

Don't forget your passport when you head over there, too.

Those Tasmanians are very particular about that.

British 4wd's freight is quite good because they use Australian Air Express not Auspost as a general rule, unless its a small item that you arent in a hurry for. I get things from them overnight to lithgow on most occasions and the item is delivered to my door by courier at about 8am the morning after i order it.

and i thought tasmania was part of newzealand.
