Some people have a lot of time on their hands! That first one was very clever.

I love creativity, just genius. The Thunderbirds rescue gets me!

Why don't we all run up a few other creative ideas?

Like: Pump the hull full of helium and let it float into space,
    or,
    call godzilla!

    Over to you(se)

    Good one dullbird!

You know, it aint going anywhere, tourism newcastle has a hidden anchor,
holding it firmly to the reef/beach

    How about this?:

Rig up a few masts, lots of sails and wait for a westerly wind?

Your not suggesting that it takes Newcastle with it?

About time Bob Hudson came back and did a revised "The Newcastle Song" with a few references to the Pasha, eh, Simon...

Given where it is, there is another way, - forward!

Get all the (not Land Rover) 4wd dudes to dig up the beach, create a channel and let the surf and wind push it into the river! It would easily slide over the roofs of lotsa sunk Pootrols and 'cruisers...
we know that lot are very good at sinking their 'cars'.......

Get about 1 million fat bastards like me to jump into the sea on high tide and watch the ship just float away like a rubber ducky in the bath.

On the same line, just dump all the Jap crap in the sea, the sea level will come up and in a year or 2 they would have rusted away with no sign of ever being there, thats something you couldnt do with a landy, too much Ally.

If that doesnt work, some cheap chinese winches off ebay, a couple of hundred with snatch blocks to some arb sand ancors would do it easy.

Just a few of the stupidest things I could think of.
