    Rover burnouts

I discovered something exciting tonight. I was leaving an Origin party and put my foot down and one of the wheels started spinning on the bitumen
Think I was in first gear. Maybe second but not sure.

    Try that in your Tdi

    Yep they sure do.
It also enjoys LHF wheel lift round corners with swaybars.
New suspension should sort that out very soon.

forgot to say......the most annoying is when all four are spinning in the wet.......

its the most unco........and uncontrollable slide you could ever think of......
and the traction control makes it worse........

Yep - 1st day I got the disco i tried it out and its worse than a FWD mazda buzz box.

Wheel lift isn't a problem. Its pretty well behaved unless you really push it.
Far far better than any SWB GQ Pootrol I've driven even with a five link rear end - and I've driven quite a few.
Those things life 500mm easy on the LHF and about 300mm on RHF if you've got the nuts.
I love the Disco at the moment, but it needs twins in the back to help the A-frame and body roll.
They are just to 'whollowy' (doubt that is a word!) in the rear.
    Front is great.

If only i had a video of it, but about 1 month after i got my new(er) rangie i took it (probably where i wasnt alowed to go) and it had been pouring the weekd before and the ground was still a little soft, it did some of the tightest donuts id ever seen, i was constantly going for about 5 minutes one donut in 2nd gear, it would start to bog down, so i put my foot down a bit kicked back to firts and away we went again, tighter than any patrol rwd's could do too.

And i also have been known to drop some black lines in ii too. i love it, but then again, im a young revhead.
